Dear Study Participant!

Thanks for taking part in our experiment to improve search on the internet.

The experiment consists of 7 search tasks of varying difficulty.

You don't have to carry out all 7 tasks at once, but you can take breaks. If you feel like taking a break, just click on the little search logger icon . This will open a window where you can pause and unpause the search logger. I pause mode, the icon turns green.

When you want to continue the experiment just unpause it and go on. In logging mode, the icon should turn from green to normal again.

After filling in this demographic form a Window about "Internet Security" will appear . This is a security precaution by Macromedia. Just click allow and also "Remember the decision". Then the First search case will appear.

NB! Please open up Wordpad or another editor and take notes of the search results that you are gathering as required in each search task. Please copy and paste those notes into free text field of the last feedback form (after having finished the last case).
