The main objective of analysis was to make conclusions about the phenomena of tabloidisation in formal features in the newsprogrammes. Researh material consisted of 63 news-stories which were aired in three newsprogrammes during one week. First part of the research was qualitative and examined the main formal features of programmes, also the role of newscasters and the communication with the viewers. Second part of the study was quantitative and the center question was the usage of formal features ( close-up, zoom-in, eyewitness perspective etc) which implicate on sensatsionalism in the news. Results showed that newsprogramme Reporter does not use exceptionally more sensational formal features than other programmes. However there is big similarity between newsprogramme Seitsmesed uudised and Reporter formal features. Aktuaalne kaamera has more stable news format than other newsprogrammes.application/pdfH Social Sciences (General)meediatelevisioonuudised2006bakalaureusetöödEesti 2006. aasta teleuudise formaadi analüüsThesis
