The conflict between a woman’s body and laws regulating abortion has become one of the most controversial political topics in American society. The aim of this paper is to analyze Louise Erdrich’s Future Home of the Living God for elements of feminist dystopia and to demonstrate how it engages with the current political and religious tension regarding women’s rights and reproduction.
