This thesis’ main focus is Estonian preschool kindergarten groups. Theme selection arose from a request from an Estonian kindergarten – I got requested to do illustrated posters, which could be used for art observation, so I got interested in the art observation topic. After speaking to my supervisor, we reached a conclusion that I could research what is the current state with art observation in Estonian kindergartens and what additional material do kindergarten teachers need to better facilitate the art observation process.
