The goal of the materials is to introduce different programming fields, teach opportunities for developing a programming project and to introduce upcoming courses in the curriculum. Other introductory programming courses and upcoming courses in the curriculum were researched in order to select topics for the materials. The eight chosen topics include regular expressions, databases, web application development, graphical game development, object-oriented programming and more.
