    Nowadays, music is often performed with backing tracks. Unfortunately, there are no cheap and accessible backtrack player options available whose functionality would be comparable to the more expensive ones. The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create an application whose functionality would be comparable to the more expensive backing track machines. For this the thesis analyzed different options for playing backing tracks on the market and identified the most important components. The program was tested in a band rehearsal and based on the feedback, the content of the program was changed and possible further developments were described.
