This study uses a 10 % random sample of the Estonian population for 2012–2019 that had already been transformed into the OMOP Common Data Model. The goal was to demonstrate that OMOP‑standardised data enable the creation of harmonized quality metrics and an interactive dashboard that lowers manual data‑collection effort and allows real‑time monitoring of indicators. Using the web‑based ATLAS tool, the denominator and numerator cohorts were defined for four cervical cancer quality indicators. R packages then generated patient lists directly in a PostgreSQL‑OMOP database and calculated the indicators, which are displayed in an interactive Shiny dashboard with plots. The project produced a reusable solution in which adding a new indicator requires only the cohort’s JSON file from ATLAS and a few additional lines of Shiny code, eliminating the need to write complex SQL for cohort construction. This approach greatly reduces the time currently spent on manual data collection, indicator calculation, and analysis, and can be ported easily to any hospital with an OMOP database. It thus demonstrates that leveraging data already in OMOP format allows rapid creation and visualization of cancer‑care quality indicators and supports data‑driven quality management.
