The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to create and implement an algorithm which can describe the human face. A secondary goal is to create a web application that integrates said implementation, which returns a description of the face found in a user inputted image in natural Estonian or English language. Several similar applications are analysed within the scope of the thesis and the specialty of the created application is justified. Thereupon the created algorithm and applications are described in detail. Finally, the accuracy of the ap-plication is tested, and its shortcomings are analysed with possibilities for further development.
