This creative-practical thesis of the specialty of cultural management gives an overview of the conference "Companions on the Memory Journey" and its management which is organized on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Viljandi Hospital Memory Clinic. The conference took place on December 5, 2023 at the Sakala Center in Viljandi. At the event, almost 20 speakers shared their knowledge and experience in the form of presentations and panel discussions. My part in the organization of the event was to fulfill the tasks of the project manager. The purpose of the event was to increase people's awareness of the topic of memory diseases and also to increase the cooperation of various authorities in Viljandimaa in creating a support network for recognizing memory diseases. The necessity of the event was evident from the interest of many registrants. The event was successful, with almost one hundred and fifty listeners present.
