    Väike õppeotstarbeline kaheveoline robot

    The thesis gives a short overview of some existing educational robotic platforms with a focus on their sensors and dimensions. A new robotic platform also suitable for educational use was designed, including the mechanics, electronics and three layers of APIs for controlling the robot. Tests involving the robot's current draw and driving characteristics were performed. The created robot's dimensions are at least a third smaller than the robot's that is in use in robotics courses in the Institute of Technology of the University of Tartu and uses a newer Raspberry Pi 5 as its controller. The platform enables movement with less than 1% of error in different ways and is durable when driving into obstacles.
