Lisamaterjali loomine kursuse „Objektorienteeritud programmeerimine“ jaoks

Abstract

Nowadays programming is widely used in many fields. One of the most popular programming languages Java has been taught at the University of Tartu in the course “Object-Oriented Programming” for years. Over time Java has changed and evolved, but many of those new opportunities have not been reflected in the teaching materials. Therefore, as part of this bachelor's thesis, supplementary materials were created for the course “Object-Oriented Programming” that introduce new topics related to the Java programming language in Estonian. The materials were first introduced in the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. To evaluate the supplementary materials, a questionnaire was prepared and answered by 211 course participants. From the students' feedback, it can be concluded that the supplementary materials are understandable and useful.

Tänapäeval on programmeerimine laialt levinud paljudes valdkondades. Ühte populaarsemat programmeerimiskeelt Java on õpetatud aastaid Tartu Ülikooli kursusel „Objektorienteeritud programmeerimine“. Aja jooksul on Java muutunud ja edasi arenenud ning enamasti pole neid uusi võimalusi kajastatud õppematerjalides. Seetõttu koostati bakalaureusetöös kursusele „Objektorienteeritud programmeerimine“ lisamaterjale, mis tutvustavad uusi programmeerimiskeelega Java seotud teemasid eesti keeles. Loodud materjalid võeti esmakordselt kasutusele 2024/2025. õppeaasta kevadel. Lisamaterjalide hindamiseks koostati küsimustik, millele vastas 211 kursusel osalejat. Üliõpilaste tagasisidest võib järeldada, et lisamaterjalid on arusaadavad ja kasulikud.
