dc.description.abstractTeacher turnover is an issue concerning education systems all over the world. To alleviate the phenomenon, scholars have investigated the factors influencing teacher turnover, including the turnover of beginning teachers. However, specifically, novice EFL teachers’ perceptions have not been studied in Estonia. The aim of the thesis, therefore, is to establish the views of novice EFL teachers on the most and least supportive factors during their first years of teaching and see whether there are any features distinctive to teaching English that might influence them.et
