dc.description.abstractTesting is an important part of the software development process. This work aims to explore and apply testing methods to the Visual Studio Code extension GobPie to prevent errors and make the program more reliable. To achieve this, the functionalities of the GobPie extension were studied, requirements were identified, and automated tests were written in Java programming language based on these requirements. Code coverage metrics were used to evaluate the quality of the written tests. Several bugs were discovered in the GobPie extension and fixed throughout the process, and code maintenance was performed to increase code efficiency.
