Arvutiteaduse instituutIn this thesis, the primary objective was to implement a data management solution for the gener-ation of time-series environmental data assets and reports. Overall, the system should aid in pre-paring for a more open-science approach to asset generation by allowing versioning, metadata annotation, and the ability to trace how and why data assets were created. In order to facilitate collaboration on such data-driven work, a technology stack consisting of multiple open source solutions were chosen. The solution should enable researchers to perform a variety of duties, in-cluding data collection, metadata injection, data versioning, and asset materialization, with relative ease. The implemented system makes it apparent how data assets are dependent on one an-other and how, by utilizing the tools, users can determine what type of data they are working with. As a result of implementing such a solution, an environmental data asset and report system was developed for two Tahkuse environmental measurement station gas analyzers, allowing for the generation of multiple data assets and reports in a clear, comprehensible, validated, versioned, and visually understandable way.Item Qumanize rakenduse analüüs ja sellele veebiliidese loomine(Tartu Ülikool, 2020) Ruisu, Katrin; Salumets, Ahto, juhendaja; Adler, Priit, juhendaja; Tartu Ülikool. Arvutiteaduse instituutThis master thesis describes an application called Qumanize that was created to carry out a humanization process for non-human monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies are used as therapeutics for various cancers and autoimmune diseases. They are credited for their high specificity and reduced side effects compared to other drugs. However, since they are discovered in non-human immune systems, their amino-acid composition may induce an immune response in the human body with severe consequences. Qumanize is a tool for humanizing antibody amino acid sequences discovered in various species. It was created as a command line application, so one part of this thesis project was to create a web interface to this application for better accessibility - this process is also described in detail.Item TCF7L2 geeni polümorfism rs7903146 ja gestatsioonidiabeet(Tartu Ülikool, 2021) Kumpel, Evelin; Tagoma, Aili, juhendaja; Adler, Priit, juhendaja; Tartu Ülikool. TCF7L2 on valku kodeeriv geen, mis on peamiselt seotud β-rakkude proliferatsiooni ja proinsuliini sünteesi reguleerimisega. TCF7L2 polümorfismi rs7903146 on kõige rohkem seostatud teist tüübi diabeediga, kuid kuna teist tüüpi diabeet ja gestatsioonidiabeet on patofüsioloogiliselt sarnased, on seda polümorfismi uuritud ka gestatsioonidiabeedi patsientide seas. Selle uurimistöö eesmärgiks oli määrata TCF7L2 polümorfismi rs7903146 genotüübid gestatsioonidiabeedi riskirühma kuuluvatel rasedatel ning analüüsida polümorfismi mõju genotüübiti nii gestatsioonidiabeedi kujunemisele kui ka sellega seotud tulemitele. Uuritavate rühma moodustasid 473 naist, kellest gestatsioonidiabeedi diagnoosiga oli 181. Tulemustest selgus, et TCF7L2 riskigenotüüp T/T polnud seotud gestatsioonidiabeedi diagnoosi, veresuhkru ega C-peptiidi väärtustega, kuid suurendas insuliinravi vajaduse šanssi raseduse lõpus.
