| dc.description | As philosophy of music is not very common in Estonia, the aim of my thesis is to introduce its interdisciplinary research field through illuminating the concept of the work of music and the problem of its identity. The central claim of my thesis is that the work of music can be understood and defined both as a single work of music as well as a category or generic term. Deriving from that, I explain how and why musicology and philosophy define these concepts differently. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | Käesoleva uurimistöö eesmärk oli esiteks muusikafilosoofia tematiseerimine ning teiseks muusikateose ja selle identiteedi probleemi käsitlemine, milles tuginesin eeskätt Roman Ingardeni uurimusele „The work of music and the problem of its identity”. Kuna nii uurimistöö teema kui ka töö ise on tulenevalt muusikafilosoofia käsitlemisest interdistsiplinaarsed, on töös esindatud nii muusikateadusest kui ka filosoofiast lähtuvad perspektiivid. Uurimistöö fookuses on muusikateose kontseptsioon, mille avamise läbi soovisin vastata küsimusele, kas ja mille poolest erinevad muusikateaduse ja filosoofia meetodid ning arusaamad muusikateose ja selle identiteedi uurimisel ning millised probleemid või eelised kummagi distsipliini puhul esile kerkivad. | et |
