Abstract

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop BGPals, a web application that connects board game enthusiasts, allowing them to manage their game collections, look up the game collections of other users, filter games and communicate with other users. The application was built using the Vue.js framework, a PostgreSQL database and Firebase services for authentication. The thesis describes the system architecture, the requirements of the web application, the user interface components, the structure of the database, and provides an overview of what board games are.
