Maksu- ja Tolliameti sõnumivahetuse komponendi testimine

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to provide an overview of the entire software testing process using the example of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board’s transitionhandler component. The thesis describes the process of creating a test plan, discusses the structure of test cases and test reports and provides examples of errors found during the testing phase. As a result of the testing done in this thesis, the Estonian Tax and Customs board was delivered a functioning transitionhandler component, the purpose of which is to exchange messages between the common domain, national domain and internal domain customs applications. As the thesis contains references to trade secrets and the tested component is not and will never be accessible to the general reader, only a short overview of the structure of the component is provided in this work, with an attempt to focus on the inaccessible material as little as possible.
