This thesis examines the depiction of Kamala Harris by two newspapers: The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal during the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign with focus on the depiction of female politicians using corpus-assisted discourse analysis. The first section, based on earlier scholarly work, provides an overview of the function of media and politics, including the techniques used by the media to represent women in politics. The second section provides the basis of methodology and data. The third section analyses the findings of gender framing in the two newspapers. Keywords: CADS, Kamala Harris, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, media discourse
