Disabled people are generally not seen as audiences when it comes to audience development. Inclusivity is even more difficult when the disability is blindness or visual impairment, since the world is largely ocularcentric. In Estonia, inclusive theatre making is lagging behind and most performances are not reaching the community because the blind and visually impaired audiences have not been engaged in an accessible way. The first part of the thesis is based on secondary research, providing a theoretical foundation for audience development activities. It synthesises and analyses relevant academic and professional literature to establish key concepts and frameworks, which then inform the second part of the thesis, the project concept and its practical implementation. The research found that the problem is rooted in the fact that accessibility is oftentimes seen as tokenistic, something necessary to fulfil cultural policies and secure funding. This, however, means that the adaptations made for accessibility are not systemic and therefore do not result in actual change of cultural habits in the blind and visually impaired community. This thesis offers practical activities that can be included in the audience development plan of any project that wishes to be more inclusive. It also gives theoretical background to audience development in regard to the blind and visually impaired community.

This thesis examines how an archival activation project was organised within an institutional context through the case study After Storms: A Meeting in the Archive, developed at the International Institute of Social History (IISH). The project is analysed using institutional theory, particularly the concepts of coercive, normative, and mimetic pressures, to examine how institutional conditions shaped access, decision-making, project framing, collaboration, and working processes in practice. Based on this analysis, the thesis identifies three dimensions for organising archival activation – managing institutional structures, positioning the project, and designing the working process – and develops a project-based model that relates these dimensions to project phases and the actors involved in the work.

This thesis explores how networks, collaboration, and access to opportunities function in the Estonian independent film industry, particularly within a small-market film ecosystem. Drawing on interviews with film professionals across the sector, the analysis examines how professional relationships shape collaboration processes and access to career opportunities. The research employs a qualitative approach based on twelve semi-structured interviews with film professionals and representatives of key institutions. Participants were selected through selective sampling to reflect a range of professional roles, experience levels, and perspectives within the Estonian film ecosystem. Interview data was complemented by secondary industry sources and observational insights

The objective of this master’s thesis was to build a model, implementing a hybrid project management framework that synchronizes specialized domain expertise with VR-specific technical affordances. The research focuses on the project manager’s role as a "Knowledge Broker" in facilitating interdisciplinary communication and managing cognitive load within a specialized B2B project. This study employed an action research methodology, employing the "Plan-Act-Observe-Reflect" cycle. During the development of a "Space Station Journey" VR simulation, the data collection methods included an action research log, document analysis of a custom hybrid project plan, and iterative stakeholder validation.

This thesis examines how different financing models influence early-stage independent game development. Indie developers often operate under conditions of financial uncertainty, limited organisational capacity and restricted access to external capital, making funding decisions a critical factor in project feasibility and development structure. The study analyses and compares three financing models commonly used in the game industry: publisher funding, crowdfunding and public funding.
