Tabletop games in EFL classes to develop students’ speaking skills. Estonian teachers’ practices

Abstract

The main aim of this MA thesis was to investigate how tabletop games support learning a foreign language and which tabletop game elements support which speaking subskills. In addition, the question arose whether the practices of basic school EFL teachers of Estonia in using board games reflect these findings.
