Abstract

The aim of this master’s thesis Recreation of the Tunisian Crocheted Rannarootsi Blanket RrM 1022 14 188 was to recreate a Tunisian technique crochet blanket preserved at Rannarootsi Museum, dating from the year 1905. In addition to the practical component, the work focused on examining the technical execution and production methods, based both on material and written sources. The goal was to create a blanket that visually closely resembled the original, while being more durable and suitable for practical use.
