Abstract

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the Tallinn International Jazz Festival Jazzkaar 2025, highlighting two specific episodes within the festival: the production of the Free Concerts Day and the exhibition “Jazz meets Art – NYC SHOTS” by Arne Maasik, held in the Von Krahl concert hall as part of the festival. The work draws from the author’s personal experience as a cultural producer and explores the multifaceted meaning of a jazz festival through both production and spatial creation
