Abstrakt

The aim of this master’s thesis was to develop curriculum-aligned 3D printing instructional materials for the second and third stages of basic school technology education and to investigate their applicability in school practice, in order to support technology education teachers in the systematic and purposeful teaching of 3D printing. The study was conducted as a practice-oriented development study, using the ADDIE model as a framework for describing the development process. The data sources included a research diary, partial testing of the instructional materials in technology education lessons conducted by the author, and feedback from three expert teachers. As a result of the thesis, lesson plans for three double lessons, lesson slides, video tutorials, and supporting materials for teachers were developed for both the second and third stages of basic school. The results show that the applicability of 3D printing instructional materials is supported by up-to-date and task-based instructions, well-organised file management and printing workflow, as well as technical and methodological support for teachers. The findings also indicate that the successful use of the materials depends on the school’s technical infrastructure and work organisation
