Abstract

This master’s thesis examines school leaders’ views on the preparation and role of teachers in these subjects. As part of a qualitative study, eight school leaders were interviewed. The results emphasize the importance of fostering students’ creativity, key competencies and practical skills. In teachers, the ability to support students with special educational needs and to integrate different subjects is particularly valued. The findings highlight the need for a stronger support system, appropriate working conditions and sufficient resources
