Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine how the principles of inclusive education are implemented in hobby schools and to examine teachers’ experiences and challenges in applying inclusive education. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data were collected through interviews with hobby school teachers and instructors. The results indicate that hobby schools play an important role in supporting the inclusion of children with special needs in non-formal education. However, several challenges remain, including insufficient teacher preparation, limited support systems and environmental barriers. At the same time, teachers emphasized that positive attitudes, cooperation with support specialists and families, and flexible learning environments can support the effective implementation of inclusive education in hobby schools
