As part of the 2024 vocational education reform, a visual and audio culture module was added to the general education curriculum. This study examined teachers’ readiness to teach this resource‑intensive and multimodal module, drawing on semi‑structured interviews with vocational teachers from five pilot schools. Using qualitative content analysis, teachers viewed the module primarily as a way to broaden students’ cultural horizons and highlighted experiential learning, multimodal meaning‑making, creative tasks and digital tools. While overall readiness was high, concerns centred on learner heterogeneity, motivation, module scope and limited resources. The study concludes that teachers are motivated to implement the module but require more systematic support, including suitable materials, financial support for study visits and time for planning integration and methodological development
