Ribosoomi funktsiooniks on valgusüntees, see koosneb suurest ja väikesest subühikust ning ribosomaalsest RNA’st (rRNA) ja ribosoomi valkudest (r-valgud). Kõikide organismide ribosomaalne rRNA sisaldab suuremal või vähemal määral modifitseeritud nukleotiide. Modifitseeritud nukleotiididide positsioonid ning modifikatsioonide arv on erinevate organismide lõikes varieeruv. E.coli ribosoomi 36 modifikatsioonidest 13 on koondunud 23S rRNA V domeeni. V domeenis asub peptidüültransferaasne tsenter (PTC), mis on ribosoomi katalüütiliseks tsentriks, kus toimub peptiidsideme süntees. Since detective fiction conventions have a strong influence on mystery writing in general, it is appropriate to examine the ploys used in the creation of whodunits that form the structures that uphold the central mysteries of the stories. Combining the concept of invariant figure-types and the theory of block elements, we can examine one of these ploys in the works of Agatha Christie, the most recognized Golden Age detective story writer whose writing strategies have greatly influenced our overall understanding of the genre’s conventions. The main goal of this BA thesis is to analyse Christie’s works to understand how the fusion of invariant figure-types is used to create block elements that stop the readers from immediately predicting the ending of the stories. The literature review section of this thesis gives an overview on the conventionality of detective stories, Christie’s adhesion to these standards and also her deviations and innovations. The terms of invariant figure-types and block elements are introduced to form the theoretical background to the analysis. The empirical study section examines three of Christie’s novels – Murder Is Easy, The Murder at the Vicarage and Death in the Clouds – with special attention on the characters of the novels and the roles they play in the mysteries, particularly the characters of the culprits, to identify the block elements created by the fusion of invariant figure-types.
Neural Networks Based Automatic Content Moderation on Social Media

Millions of users produce and consume billions of content on social media. Therefore, humanreviewed content moderation is not achievable in such volume. Automating content moderation is a scalable solution for social media platforms. In this thesis work, we propose a neural networks based automatic content moderation pipeline. Our solution consists of two main parts: the first part that classifies the content into granular content classes and a second part that automatically obfuscates the part of the image that might be inappropriate for the target audience. The proposed solution is cost-efficient in terms of human labour. Our classification network is trained with automatically labelled data using noise-robust techniques. Our automatic obfuscation algorithm uses the information obtained from the classification network and does not require additional annotation or supplementary training. This obfuscation algorithm presents a novel-use case to the state-of-the-art.

Movies, one of the main media of entertainment, provide an opportunity to bring attention to topics that might otherwise go unnoticed by the public. That, however, presents a certain level of responsibility to anyone who decides to base their narratives on historical topics. There is scholarly debate whether historical films should stay true to facts as much as possible or whether artistic liberties can be taken to convey the larger meaning that the audience can understand better. This is especially important in the case of controversial political events. This Bachelor’s thesis studies the portrayal of the suffragette movement in the 2015 dramatic feature film Suffragette, directed by Sarah Gavron. There are gaps both in translating the suffrage movement to screen and scholarly analysis. In order to analyse the movie, the history of the suffrage movement shall be looked into, with a focus on aspects relevant to or appearing in the movie. The years focused on are 1911-1913, corresponding with the height of militancy. This is also the span covered in the film. The literature review section also introduces some theoretical foundation for analysing history to provide a base for the analysis of the movie. The empirical chapter applies the notions from the literature review to the analysis of the film, to identify how the film makers have chosen to represent the events to their audience.
Detection of changes in maps using LiDAR point clouds

Self-driving cars are one of the most vibrant fields of Robotics and applied Artificial Intelligence. At the current level of the industry development, maps are the main source of the vehicle’s knowledge of the surrounding environment. Providing basic knowledge for the motion planning and global navigation, they are an essential part of the self-driving car’s autonomy. Therefore, they should be kept up to date. Locations that have changed need to be visited again and remapped. Change detection can be done by comparing two point clouds obtained at the same spatial location, but at different points of time. For the pairwise comparison of the point clouds, first we should select the overlapping road parts, then the alignment is performed and finally the distance metrics are calculated. The aim of my thesis is to develop a pipeline that detects changes along the route of the autonomous car. The pipeline includes dynamic object filtering, point clouds alignment and evaluation of their difference. The developed pipeline is evaluated on the Oxford RobotCar dataset since it contains different routes through the same places for many month, which can provide a set of significant changes on the road. To our knowledge, there were no previous attempts to create an automated pipeline for the map’s change detection with the LiDAR point clouds. The results show that the constructed pipeline can detect significant changes with the LiDAR input data. The developed pipeline is the first step towards eventually ensuring real-time updates of the map for self-driving vehicles, which will help cars to operate in the city more optimally.

La cultura popular es popular porque es una cultura hecha por y para la gente: el público en general, los pobres y a menudo sin voz dentro de la estructura política y judicial de un país, que constituyen la mayor parte de la sociedad. A menudo se le conoce como subcultura, para distinguirla de la cultura "alta" de la élite de la sociedad (Flores, 2000:17). Por lo tanto, en este estudio argumentaremos que el examen de los movimientos artísticos populares, particularmente la música hip-hop, nacidos de los representantes de las subculturas, que a menudo son personas de color y migrantes de la clase trabajadora, nos ofrecerá el mejor ejemplo disponible para ilustrar los procesos de comprensión de las luchas políticas, sociales y raciales actuales de las sociedades. La importancia de usar el lenguaje y, por extensión, la canción, como una herramienta importante para expresar, así como para crear afiliaciones culturales, se remonta a las ideas del siglo XVIII del filósofo y pensador Johann Gottfried von Herder, quien escribe: "Un poeta es el creador de la nación que lo rodea, les da un mundo para ver y tiene sus almas en su mano para guiarlos a ese mundo" (Irmcher, 1974:800). Esta concepción del uso de la música como dispositivo de expresión cultural y el uso del lenguaje, la historia común y las tradiciones como base para la pertenencia nacional y unión, en oposición a solo los límites geográficos, es particularmente relevante para el caso de Puerto Rico.

Sikkert mange som har lest de skandinaviske sagaene noen gang, lurte på om hendelsene som ble beskrevet, kunne være sanne og hvor sann er historien. Levde heltene virkelig? Når var det? Hvordan var de? Hvor mange sannheter er det i sagaene? Hvordan å sjekke det? Heldigvis var jeg heldig som bodde i Estland, geografiskt nært de stedene der hendelsene beskrevet i sagaene visstnok skulle utfolde seg. På mange måter er dette arbeidet et resultat av min mangeårige interesse for de skandinaviske sagaene. Det er et forsøk på å svare på spørsmålene som bekymret meg fra den første dagen jeg møtte sagaene, med eksempelet på en konkret sak, kongens Yngvar den Høye død.

Interaction for web development purposes between Spring Boot backend framework and Angular frontend framework is spreading intensively around the world. To build web applications based on these frameworks, robust development tools are used to accelerate software development processes. Special attention must be paid to the following two tools: integrated development environment IntelliJ IDEA Community and source code editor Visual Studio Code. The aim of this research is to create web application by using Spring Boot and Angular frameworks and to compare management options for both frameworks during web development. Based on comparison determine which development tool suits better for web development based on the following criteria: Spring Initializr, Flyway database-migration tool, MySQL relational database management system support, database query methods, Project Lombok annotations, IntelliSense and Version Control System.

This thesis focuses on the aspects of colonization in the novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Colonialism still remains a large issue today due to its ramifications on colonized lands and Heart of Darkness is to this day seen as a vivid account of colonization from over a century ago. The introduction shows what will be analysed and what literature is used to support said analysis. The first chapter is a literature overview, showcasing overall the literature that has been written on the Heart of Darkness beforehand along with literature that specifically focuses on the colonization aspect of it. The second core chapter starts off with an analysis of the location and colony that inspired the novel to find out the likeliest colony where the story of Heart of Darkness takes place and what kind of colony it is. After this, it moves onto discussing Marlow's experiences of the colony and how Conrad portrayed it for his audience.
Mobile banking application post adoption characteristics in Estonia

This thesis aims to study post adoption user characteristics of mobile banking applications in Estonia more specifically how important is the technology for Estonian Bank account holders. Furthermore, it focuses on understanding if Estonian banks follow the approved application creation steps. For this research 212 beneficiary were surveyed. However only 195 are using m-banking applications, full data was used for analyzing different general characteristics such as internet and mobile phone usage around the country. Analysis is following Mixed research design more specifically Embedded. The findings revealed that usage of bank applications is quite popular in Estonia as majority of interviewed people are using it 3-5 days a week. Moreover, most of the Estonian bank account holders treat the product as highly important. In spite of the fact that usage of mobile banking application is high in the county, the study acknowledged some defects that might be taken into consideration from Banking sector.
