Abstract
Bakalaureusetöös uuritakse Banachi ruumi nõrga ja normitopoloogia poolt indutseeritud topoloogiaid kinnisel ühikkeral ning analüüsitakse nende stabiilsusomadusi. Keskmes on küsimus, kas ühikkera suhteliselt lahtiste hulkade lõplikud kumerad kombinatsioonid osutuvad samuti suhteliselt lahtisteks.
Töös tõestatakse, et T. A. Abrahamseni, J. Becerra Guerrero, R. Halleri, V. Lima ja M. Põldvere poolt defineeritud Banachi ruumi omadus (co) on samaväärne ühikkera B normitopoloogia alamruumitopoloogia suhtes.
This bachelor’s thesis examines the topologies on the closed unit ball of a Banach space induced by the weak and norm topologies and analyses their stability properties. The central question is whether finite convex combinations of relatively open subsets of the unit ball remain relatively open. The thesis establishes that the Banach space property (co), introduced by T. A. Abrahamsen, J. Becerra Guerrero, R. Haller, V. Lima, and M. Põldvere, is equivalent to the stability of the unit ball B with respect to the subspace topology inherited from the norm topology.
